Leaving/moving/army

Everyone I love around me is somehow leaving. I know it's part of life. But. Can't they do it at different times? I've got one friend that left today. Fir New Mexico. His mom forced him to. && as if that wasn't enough. Another told me today. He's officially part of the U.S. army. The fucking U.S. army. Wtf? I guess it's a gid way to start a life. But war...
